Lansing Marathon

The Lansing Marathon, Half-Marathon, and Ekiden Marathon Relay take place on April 21, 2013 (the 5K actually takes place on April 20, 2013) and are open to individuals of all ability levels. The marathon, half-marathon, and relay routes are flat, fast, scenic, and varied, covering both urban and rural portions of the greater-Lansing community. All races finish in front of throngs of cheering spectators at the Lansing Center. There is excellent on-course support, with aid stations every two miles and an abundance of helpful course marshals and police officers to control traffic. An Expo precedes the marathon on April 20, from 9 AM-6PM at the Lansing Center, 333 E Michigan Ave, Lansing. The start time for the marathon, half-marathon, and Ekiden Relay is 8 A. M. on Sunday, April 21, and the course is open for seven hours.The Lansing Marathon 5K kicks off at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 20 in front of the Lansing Center, and the MSUFCU 1.5K Kids Race takes place at 11 AM on Saturday, April 20, also in front of the Lansing Center on Michigan Avenue.Event schedule and timesAll events on April 20-21, 2013:April 20: 9:30 AM - 5KApril 20: 11:00 AM - MSUFCU KIDS 1.5KApril 21: 6:45 AM - Push-Rim MarathonApril 21: 8:00 AM - Full Marathon, Half-Marathon, and Ekiden RelayPacket pick-up begins at 6:30 AM on race morning
